THE ROLE OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS IN ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS

Abstract: The objective of this research is to explore the role of project management skills in performing administrative tasks effectively. A survey design was selected for its ability to gather comprehensive data from a broad population. Using Taro Yamane’s formula, a sample size of 360 administrative employees from a construction company in Abuja was determined. The survey instrument’s reliability coefficient score was 0.87, indicating high reliability. Findings reveal that project management skills are crucial for administrative success, particularly in coordinating complex tasks and ensuring timely completion. The study recommends regular project management training for administrative staff to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
